Robert & Rosaline Kunick posted a condolence

We were in shock when we heard the news. Rob had inspected our cars for years at both Fair Oaks and Centreville. We always enjoyed seeing him and Bob and him would discuss sports and their Ukranian heritage. Plus he always had a big smile and kind words. We extend our deepest and sincere sympathy to all of his family. Bob & Rosaline Kunick

Rob was a great person. While he had his share of hard times, he could always be counted on for a smile and an encouraging word. The love and pride he had for his children made his smile wide and his eyes shine when he spoke of them. I am sad that I lost my friend and that we all lost such a kind and gentle soul.

We have know the Michanco family for quite a while. Our sons played hockey togther...first Shawn and Nathan, then Scott and Nathan. Rob was always friendly and loved to talk. Outside of the rink, he also would stop to talk and see how things were going if we happened to meet. This news weights heavy on our hearts and our thoughts and prayers go out to Rob's children and the rest of his family at this very difficult time.
Deepest Regards,
Dennis, Barb, Nathan, Jordyn

My thoughts and prayers are with friends and family at the time of mourning. The unexpected passing of my old friend saddens my heart and makes me realize how precious life is. Even though we did not see each other that often it was like time had not past when we did. Rob always greeted me with a smile and huge. Seeing him at the shop or on the golf course was my privilege to be with such a humble and helping friend. I will miss you Rob and forever grateful that God was so kind as to bring a man like you into my life. I love you Rob.

My heart is aching. Aching for the wonderful friend I lost. For the family and friends who's lives were touched with Rob's generous spirit and love. There are very few friends in this world that are so comfortable with the bond they've built that they tell each other "I love you." Rob and I had that kind of bond. It didn't matter what we were going through...we were always able to let each other know. That's a rare and priceless gift to me. I'll cherish the friendship and memories he gave me forever. I pray for his family and other friends in this time of incredible sadness and loss. And for his beautiful kids, who I've had the pleasure of knowing and hearing the pride-filled stories about since they were born, I'm so, so sorry. My thoughts are with you. You're dad was one of the most awesome men I will ever know. I love you Rob.
