Dear Vince and Family: I knew your mom in college - she was one of my best friends, and she was the one who always tried to keep us all together after we all graduated. I was there when she and your dad first started dating, and I cannot think of that time without laughing at all the fun we all had, and at how full of life and gusto your mom always had! I truly wish I could be there for the services, but I hope you will all find peace with this, eventually. God Bless, Tim Volk

Dear Vince, Jimmy and Kailey,
Please accept my Deepest and Most Profound Sympathy for the loss of Your Beloved Wife, Mother and My Belove Friend!
Your Mother was really a genuine jewel to so many people!
To me she was my little sister, my professional colleague and my most sincere and genuine friend while we taught together at Rockwall High School.
Kim always had a solution to help make life and situations better for everyone, students and colleagues.
My friend Kim supported me in so many situations. She is actually responsible for giving me the confidence that I have in using the computer. She took time to teach me things that I never dreamed I could do.
Kim was so supportive as a friend. When I suggested and planned to pull a joke on the entire Rockwall High School Student Body by having some teachers come out as the cheerleaders, Kim was all for it and thought that it would be hilarious! We all ran out on the gym floor did our cheer to the total shock of our students and as we were running off the floor Kim decided to to a round off and broke her ankle. since we lived so close and the whole cheer idea was my idea, I picked her up everymorning for school until she was better. Kim was a genuine Friend who supported everyone!
For me she was the most genuine person that I have ever known. She was a constant friend who kept in contact with everyone. When I moved back to Africa she kept me informed about old colleagues and wonderful things taking place in your lives. She was always interested in how her friends were doing. The last time we met in Rockwall, Texas she had returned to Rockwall for a wedding and called afew of her friends and we all met at The Hilton here in Rockwall. We caught up on old news. Remembered old friends and old times and promised to do a fun outting like that again.
"Again"... will never be, but I will carry the Wonderful Memory of Kim McKenzie with me for the rest of my life. She added confidence and happiness and friendship and security and spontanity, and joy to my life and I am so very Blessed to have had her in my life!
Kim McKenzie was one of the Best Human Beings that I have ever known.
May She Rest In Perfect Peace!
May God continue to Bless You All at all times, In All Places and At All Times!

She was totally "selfless" - she was there for us during a very difficult time and was always there for the people that she knew and loved. We adored her and she will be greatly missed.
