It was an honor and a joy to know Sarah and it was a privilege to be considered one of her friends. I have many fond memories of my visits with her and John when I visited them in Reston and Florida and when they visited me in St. Louis. Sarah had a beautiful outlook on life even with the struggles she faced everyday. John was her dedicated and faithful partner who made sure that everything possible was being done to ease her pain and allow her to live a normal life. Goodbye my dear friend. I will never forget you and your Spirit will always be with me. Rest in peace. You are in God’s hands now.

My Heartfelt condolences to John and Sarah's family. I will remember chatting with Sarah and John on a warm evening as Lucky and Kate waited impatiently for their treats. Then without warning Kate would jump onto the bench to sit with Sarah, taking up more than half the space. Sarah will be truly missed.

Our Creator has the power and desire to put a permanent end to death. Soon this enemy, death, will be brought to nothing and we have the promise of everlasting life on a paradise earth.
