This story goes back many years in my life but I remember it as if it was just last week. The time was 1966-1968. I had moved from the Boston area to Suitland MD. I had started 10 th grade and knew no one As I sat in one of my classes feeling awkward from not knowing anyone one person came up to me and said I'll be your friend, it was Gary Morrison, to this day we are still close friends. Last week Gary called me and told me his Dad passed and my mind went back to the days when I knew Mr Morrison. I think Gary and I are still close because we went through a lot of experiences together that only Gary and I remember. I remember Greg and I remember David while he was in his high chair, I remember Mrs Morrison and to this day I can feel how kind she was. Mr Morrison was a hard worker and spent long days at work supporting his family.and they always made me feel part of their family I can remember working with Gary and his Dad at the store and the day when Gary signed up for the Marines. Those days are gone now but the memories are still there in my mind and Mr Morrision will be missed by his family and friends.
