Jonathan, Jimmy, Paul, Stephen and Sarah, It is difficult for me at this time to express my condolences and all Uncle Emmett meant to me in a succinct manner. He was a faithful servant, a loving husband, a doting father, a devoted brother, a phenomenal storyteller and a gentleman through and through. I loved listening to his stories and will never forget the time we were in Rodanthe and he tried to convince me (accent and all), that his family roots were in Australia, not Ireland. I couldn’t have loved Uncle Emmett more if he was my uncle by blood. As you face the days, weeks and months ahead my prayer is that each of you will treasure your memories individually and as a family and find comfort knowing he is reunited with Aunt Pam and Emmett Jr. and is now in the presence of our Lord.
