I have a great snapshot of baby Beth sitting on Granpa Jack's knee. He is talking to her with his calm and reassuring face. On his other knee is a Raggedy Ann doll who he is trying to introduce. Beth is all big eyes and scared - she is not buying this deal at all! Did she ever get over it? Was she ever able to read Raggedy Ann and Andy to the library kids???
