Mrs. Harris, Holly, Scott, Chuck and Billy, I cannot tell you how very sorry I am! Mr. Harris was very special to me! They say that if he didn't pick on you then he didn't like you. Well, guess what? That man must have really liked me!!! I am going to miss him a lot! My heart is with all of you and your families! I wish I could take some of the pain away, but think about him up in Heaven - He's probably having a crab feast with all of his loved ones right now! Love you ALL!

Pappy, we miss you.'it's only been a week, but things already feel different. Thanks for all of the years you shared with us. Thanks for everything you taught me. Thanks for your work to better this country and community. I never told you, but thanks for always teasing me. You toughened me up and helped shape my humor. Please give us signs that you are laughing along with us as we go through life. I will always carry your memories in my heart. Love you.

Even though I only knew you for a short period of time you treated me as though I had been your friend for ever. In our short time on this earth it is not very often that you come upon a person that when you meet them that you feel that they are a true friend. You sir were one of those people. I am sorry that I did not have the time to get to know you better.. God bless your family. Rest in Peace and say hello to George and my Mom & Dad..

Aunt Nette, Holly, Scott, Billy & Chuck. Uncle Danny was not just my uncle, he was my second father. We would have long talks where he shared great life advice. He loved to tease me! He was an excellent listener. He had a level-headed solution for whatever problem I had. He had a great sense of humor. He made his cars available to me 24/7 when I first got my license. He trusted me to babysit you kids when you were very young. I have fond memories of camping trips on the Shenandoah River with your dad. He will be greatly missed, but live on in my heart forever. Dad, I will miss your funny stories and guidance through life's tuff time. I'm Glad you are in a better place. You were the patriarch and rock of our family. You were a mentor to your children and so many other people, if I can be half the man you were I will be lucky. You were my hero I love you and miss you deeply. When we meet again I look forward to drinking a cold beer and listening everyone of your stories again.

We love you Dad! I already miss your funny stories and I know you would be teasing me about all my crying. I know you are in a better place but being without you is so hard. There are so many things I should have told you but I knew I would cry. I will try to stay strong!
