I had the pleasure of working with Sandra at Latham. The dedication she had to her job here, was only second to the warmth and friendliness she shared with all of her co-workers. Sandra was there for many of us, including me, when the going got tough both professionally and personally and I will always remember everything she did for me. My deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to Sandra's loved ones as they make their way through the grieving process. May God's light and love shine down upon them, ease their pain and fill them with peace. Thank you for everything Sandra - you are missed.

I was recruited to Latham under Sandra's watch, and she made me feel very welcome. She always had a big smile and cheerful hello when I saw her in the hallway. When I arrived, Sandra solely did what is now a couple departments. We were much smaller, but it still was an impressive array of skill sets and organization abilities that Sandra exercised. My condolences to her family.

My condolences to Sandra's family and friends. She was a wonderful colleague at Latham & Watkins, with a smile for everyone. I remember her warmth and friendliness when I came to the office on my first day at work, very nervous. She will be missed.

As with others who have posted condolences, I, too, worked with Sandra for many, many years at Latham & Watkins. She was not only a terrific employee, but she was an outstanding person. She was dedicated to her job, to Pat and to her children and grandchildren (she dearly loved them). We had many occasions to socialize, and she was a great hostess. She was jovial and gracious--just a wonderful lady. If I recall correctly, she also took shorthand, which today is a lost art. I'm sure Sandra and Pat are celebrating in Heaven, and she has probably already asked Moses what kind of shorthand he used to take down those Ten Commandments. My sincere sympathy to Laurie, Lisa and Sean.

We are sorry we cannot make the service. We will be thinking of you all and sending prayers back to Virginia. Losing a Mom is so hard since they are the hub of the family.

I had the privilege of working with Sandra for many years at Latham & Watkins. As a young attorney when I joined the firm in 1982, Sandra provided support and encouragement for me and my family. Her advice was always wise and her heart was full of compassion and care.
One of my dearest memories of Sandra was when, as a young associate, my wife and I lost a new born child. Sandra cried with me and reminded me that our son was in God's very presence in heaven -- where she is now. I look forward to seeing her again one day.
