Obituary of Sandra Lee Brown

Sandra Lee Brown Of Potomac Falls, VA, born September, 5, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Jessie Fillmore Smith and Edward John Smith. Sandra passed away after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's on June 11th 2016. She was a wonder wife and friend to Pasco "Pat" Brown who she married on July 1, 1961 in Tampa, Florida; where they lived for the next 18 years. During this time she worked as a legal secretary and raised three children. The family then moved to Falls Church, Virginia, in 1979 when Pat began working at the Pentagon. Sandra then worked as a legal recruiter for the law firm Latham & Watkins where she enjoyed her work and made lifelong friends. Her lifelong desire to complete her education was finally realized when she graduated from University of Maryland University College. After Sandra retired, she then live in the River Ridge community in Woodbridge VA where she met many new friends and attended many social events. Due to her illness, she eventually moved to Falcons Landing where she spend her last two years in the Johnson Center. Sandra is survived by her children, Laurie, Sean, Lisa, and her grandchildren Gerhart, Kelly, Jessica, and Kathleen.
