Obituary of Frank Davis McAllister

Frank Davis McAllister of Reston, VA, died at his home on August 18, 2016. Mr. McAllister was predeceased by his father, Richard Alan McAllister and his step brother, SFC Virgil V. Gross. He is survived by his mother, Lynda F. McAllister and his step father, Bernard F. Gross of Herndon, VA. Frank is also survived by his sister, Katherine A. McAllister and her husband, Arseny Bogomolov of Arlington, VA, and a step sister, Carrie Gross Dashno of Potsdam, NY. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Frank was a graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School in Woodbridge, VA. He always had a keen interest in both weather and technology from the time he was a child. As an adult, Frank serviced the computers at the Reston Drop-In Center while taking IT courses at Northern Virginia Community College. Frank was a student of Hapkido. Earning his black belt was one of his proudest achievements. A memorial service will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Frank was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nikki Perlow Foundation, Baltimore, MD in the memory of Frank D. McAllister.
