Dr. Sabri was a wonderful man and took care of many of my family's ears nose and throat problems. We will always miss him and the way he practiced he was a Hands-On doctor that would do procedures right in his office and make things better for you immediately We will always keep a warm place in our hearts for dr. Sabri and the wonderful man that he was.

We lost a great, honest, dedicated member of the family...
I would like to add about his great clever parents, whom they arrived from Armenian genocide.
Dr. Josef Aziz Sabri (Aprahamian, changed the surname to Sabri because of the genocide). He was my mother's cousin. his mother Katrina was the only survival from Armenian genocide. She came from a very well-known educated cleve family (Kargulla) not Armenian name but they were Armenian from Mardin ...where they use Arabic names.
And my mother's uncle (Dr. Josef's father) Aziz Aprahamian (Sabri), also he survived the Armenian genocide because his job was transferred to Lebanon during Ottoman savagery years...but his brother and sisters were all genocided in Diyarbakir ...
We all lost our lands there ...

Our sincere condolences to Kathy, Jeffrey and Philip and your families on the loss of our beloved father. Kathy you were my first friend in childhood and although we havn't seen one another in years....whenever we correspond, it brings me back to wonderful memories of being 4-18!
Your dad was not only our family friend, but also our family doctor. There were several times he made house calls without hesitation and with his utmost devotion as a Physician. We are forever grateful to him.
I have fond memories of going with you and your family to your lake house on the Chesapeake. I remember the speed boat - (don't remember but I think it had a cute name!)...Your dad would take us on the trip of our lives...we would sit with our feet dangling up front on the deck and we held on to dear life as he would ride the boat over all the waves, and we were splashed thru and thru!
Of course i remember the amazing delicacies your mom baked and grilled with unusual spices that i had never tasted. Now some of your cuisine...is my favorite - Syrian and middle eastern!
I am sorry that we cannot make a condolence call this weekend to you as we are living in Manhattan. But you should know that no matter how many years have passed, all of the Sagers have felt very close to you. We mourn with you the passing of your beloved father and may his legacy continue in each of you, your children and future grandchildren.

My Father in Law;
We miss you dad. You can rest easy now assured that you have done a good job down here on earth. You have raised and educated and cared for seven children as well as anyone can. You have mentored students, and healed patients with the best, retiring at age 85 and regretting your retirement immediately. We will all miss you dearly but we are comforted knowing that you are not suffering. We know that you are probably playing a game of tennis right now in your new life and enjoying the company of friends and family that have gone before you. I am happy for you that you have made the journey to the afterlife and hope that you will keep a close eye out for us that you have left behind.

Mr. Sabri:
Although I never knew you, I have been honored to know a part of your impact on this world through your wonderful daughter Kathy. I know as a parent, that a child's traits and characteristics are highly correlated to the quality of their parents. With that said, Kathy is your living legacy and is a great reflection of great parenting. Thank you and may God continue to bless your family.

I miss you Dad. You pushed me to achieve more that I thought possible. You instilled in me the value of hard work, of a good education, of knowledge, and of being frugal. You taught me to stand up for what is right even if it might not be popular. I hope you know that I idolized you growing up.
I was happy that my family was able to be here for you in your later years and to try to pay you back in some small way for all you did for us. I am so very grateful that you called me that last night. It has helped me cope with this loss. I pray that you are now at peace. Give my love to Mom. Until we meet again...
Your Loving Daughter,
Kathy
