Uncle Dan, Stacey and Gregor (and families) Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Aunt Dorothy will always be remembered by us as a beautiful, and sweet aunt whom we all know played an extra special role in ther life of our own Mom. We grew up knowing about all the extra special things she did for Mom while growing up and that, alone, makes her extra-extra special to all of us. Clearly, she was a lovely sister, mother, wife and we were blessed to have had her as our aunt for many years. Love, Dan, Laura, Meghan and Ryan

Dear Uncle Dan, Stacy, Gregor and families, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. You were all so lucky to have had her in your lives and vice-versa. She was a warm, loving, beautiful woman always with a kind smile and heart. I know my Mom has always treasured their relationship and will miss her dearly. She fought a hard, long battle...with you lovingly at her side...she was very lucky for that. I pray your happy memories will prevail....and we pray for you in your time of grief. With much love, Kerry & Joe

I am the daughter of the late John Patrick/Velma (Sebring) Stapleton. My Grandfather John F. was Genevieve Sullivan's brother. We grew up calling all of the Sullivan's our cousins. Fr. Kevin flew to Springfield to say the funeral mass for my Mother in October '08. My Aunt Mary Ann Stapleton was in Dorothy's grade/high school class and always spoke of their closeness throughout their lives. My Aunt Mayme (as we called her) was also a secretary for CIPS in Springfield for 40+ years. On behalf of my sister and four brothers, I send my deepest symapthies. Our Mother battled Alzheimer's for almost five years. God rest their beautiful souls.

My father suffered from the same mind numbing curse as Aunt Dottie. In the end, it was good for the Lord to take them both when He did. My thoughts and prayers are with you - may you enjoy many years of great memories. Love, Susie & Mark Weeks

Dear Stacy, Mr. Dannacher and Gregor, I was so saddened to hear about the death of your wife and mother. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I had never met Dorothy, but Stacy spoke so sweetly about her mother and mentioned the special bond and relationship you all had with her. Reading the obituary I learned so many wonderful things about the fulfilling, enriching life she led. What a beautiful picture of Dorothy and one that portrays a woman of inner and external beauty. Kay and I wish to extend our condolences to the family of Dorothy Sullivan Dannacher for her passing. We knew her through the wedding of our niece Ann Landon to Gregor, Dorothy's son some years ago, and were impressed with the support of Gregor's family at that time, surely enhanced by the character of Dorothy. May the memory of her positive influence endure.

Dearest Dannacher Family: We send our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Dorothy, who was a wonderful person and mother to our brother-in-law, Gregor, and his sister Stacy. We only had the pleasure of meeting her a few times over the last 15 years, but did so enjoy her company. She was obviously a woman of great strength and character, which we see evidence of each time we are able to be with our brother-in-law, Gregor. Our sympathies are with your entire family and we will be thinking of you later in April as you celebrate Dorothy and her great service to our country at Arlington National Cemetary.
