Susan...you were an awesome colleague. I could always count on you to get the job done effective and efficiently. You were one of the smartest folks I know. I can't believe it has been almost 2 years since you made your transition. RIP my friend, RIP.

I am so sorry to learn of Sue's passing. I've been trying to track her down, my cards to Sue were being returned as undeliverable, etc.
I used to live in the bldg next to Susan in Reston and met her while I was walking my dog. We became good friends quickly, and we frequently took our dogs (Callie & Rocky) on walks on the trails and we would hang out at each other's homes. When I moved to Manassas, she stayed with my daughter who was in high school at the time so I could travel to Calif.
I simply adored Sue, she was like the sister I always wanted (I do have 2 sisters, but we are not as close as I would like).
My heart is greatly saddened. I was hoping to see her soon. RIP my dear friend.

Susan — I can believe it’s been a year since you’ve been gone. During this time, always think about night at TGIF for NYE, and our New Years resolutions. I thought we would have many many many more years of doing the same. Miss you lady! ❤️

Susan and I worked together in DHS. She & I used to talk about traveling, especially to Europe, and also talked alot about the four-legged babies.
She was a very gentle & caring person who also was a very dedicated worker who contributed enormously to the program's mission which she supported.
Although I only knew her in our work environment, I'll remember her for the goodness that she brought to the people around her.

I was very sad to hear of Susan's passing and offer prayers of support to her loving family. We did not stay in touch but worked together at the toy store years ago. I fondly recall her positive attitude which could never be broken no matter how crazy it got at Christmas time.
