To Uncle Hank, Dee, Lori, Ricky, Mike and Donna, and all of her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren;
As I was sitting here trying to think of something to say to all of you besides just condolence, I remembered a conversation I had once with my Mom about her sister. I listened as she talked about how much she loved her sister and how she wished they had spent more time together. She told me how Evelyn always helped her no matter what and how blessed and cherished she was to have a sister like that. She told me how Evelyn always helped a lot of people all the time and how she was an angel to a lot of people. I told her that she and her sister were one in the same. She said that Evelyn was the one that was an angel not her.. I said if Aunt Evelyn was here she would tell you that you are the one that's the angel . She laughed and said, your probably right. When I remembered this tonight it made me smile because neither one of them would ever tap themselves on the back for doing a good thing for others, but they were the two most unselfish woman I have ever had ever known. Well now the two angels are together in heaven where angels belong.

Evelyn was a wonderful friend and colleague. We met her when we were interested in buying her home and was impressed with her integrity in a business we were unsure still valued character. Karen ended up working as a Realtor in the same office. Our friendship with Hank and Evelyn continued from that time and we enjoyed many family events with them. We feel we were better people for having known Evelyn and she will be missed.
