My dear Dima, you are so missed!
Dear Yelena, Anya and Gregory,
my heart goes out to you and you family.
His Journey’s Just Begun
Don’t think of him as gone away
his journey’s just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.

Dimitry was a wonderful and warm man, with a soft sense of humor. I will always remember his smile, which was accompanied by a twinkle in his eye. He also was very dedicate to his job, and to helping others. It is difficult to imagine that he was taken from us so soon. I hope that Dimitry's family finds some comfort in knowing how much he was loved at the FDIC.

Dear Yelena, Anya and Gregory,
My condolences to all of you. I know that there are no words that can lessen your pain, just remember that he fought valiantly to be with you as long as possible and he would be happy to see you having a wonderful life and succeed beyond any wildest dreams.
Dima was optimistic and upbeat despite everything that life had for him.
Let’s remember him like that.

Dmitriy was a wonderful colleague, friend, and tennis partner. He was kind, warm, helpful, and so dedicated to his job. It's so hard to believe that he's gone. Dmitriy will always be remembered as a consummate professional who loved helping others and working hard. He served the FDIC with great distinction, honor, and integrity. Everyone loved Dmitriy and he loved them right back. We always planned to play tennis again one day under happy circumstances. I know that his strength, optimism, and gentle smile will stay with us forever. Thank you dear friend for so many years of friendship and good times. Save some court time for me; until we meet again . . .

Dear Yelena and family, I was fortunate to have worked with Dmitriy for a few years, and found him to be highly skilled, highly motivated, thorough, and completely professional. I also found him to be one of he absolute nicest people I ever had the pleasure to work with.
We have lost a true gentleman, and like many others, I have lost a true friend. I pray that your family will be comforted to know that he has no more pain, and now will look down on all of us who smile when we remember him. I wish you all God´s peace at this time.

Dear Yelena, Anna, Gregory and family,
I had the pleasure of working with Dmitriy for many wonderful years. He helped me so much with creating information for the CEP and FMS programs. He was a very patient, caring, and fun-loving person, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. I use to love to hear him laugh out loud; his laughter was so contagious.
I was at work on Friday when we received the email about his passing. I had just asked a colleague earlier that morning if they had heard any news about him and how he was doing. We kept in touch, and he would send me an occasional email asking about my husband who took ill last year.
Yelena, you and your family were so blessed to have him in your life. He touched so many lives in such a wonderful way. I will miss my dear, dear friend, but will always remember him with fond memories.

Dear Yelena, Anna, Gregory and family.
I am so sorry for your loss. Your husband and father was a wonderful friend to many of us here at the FDIC. He was so kind and generous of spirit. He took pride in his work and was very patient and helpful, and he kept a lot of things running smoothly around here.
But Dmitriy was also very proud of his family, and most especially his beautiful children! It was so very clear how much he adored you.
He touched so many lives and was cared for by lots of people in return. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
In sympathy and friendship,
Pam Brownfield

I just learned today that you are no longer here with us. I just can't believe it at all. You were so nice, so young and left so soon. Not so long ago that I talked to you regarding one of the projects at the Corporation. RIP my friend. You will be missed.
