To Travis's family I was so hurt when I heard about Travis's passing. I was a co-worker of his. When I started at NALC he was whom they put me with to work. He was such a nice person from the start. Even though I am now retired, I will miss him. My love and memories of him will remain in my heart. My condolences go out to you all. Travis was a special person, he had a way about him that all you could do was love him. It's hard to say goodbye to someone you love . I am so shocked and saddened to hear. I have such fond memories of playing with Travis, David, and John as a young child living on Briarwood Court in Annandale. You left too soon brother. I never got the chance to thank you enough for teaching me everything I know. If it wasn't for you, I would not be where I am today. Throughout my battle with chronic illness; you were always the one to call and check up on me. You checked on me more than my own family. Everyday, you asked about Daisy and the kids and when anyone was sick, you were the first to offer help. You picked up some of the most awesome antiques I've ever seen. Janet and I were saddened when we heard of Travis’ sudden passing and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Travis was an honest, good man that I always enjoyed having a conversation with, mainly because he told it like he saw it. He was up-front and very trusting of the people he dealt with, two qualities many folks today are lacking. I’ll miss him being at work and his various hats he’d wear, both physically and professionally, while going about his day. Travis always flashed a smile that forced you to smile back no matter what may be going on.
