I first met John in 1976, he help me then and continued to help me once we came to Virginia.

I'm so sorry for your loss. John was a wonderful man and I have very fond memories of him and of his generosity and kindness during the brief time that I knew him. He taught me how to read a map and introduced me to British mysteries and I will be forever greatful to him and the Goodrich family for opening their hearts and home to me when I was just starting out.
