She loved her Master and Lord Jesus Christ!
She loved her Master and served Him all her life!
She Loved her Master, and sang His praises till her last breath.
1) she served her Master - when she was healthy, walking on her two feet.
2) she served her Master -When they amputated one of her leg.
3) she served her Master - when she was running here and there -on her wheel chair - to fulfill all her duties and beyond.
Finally, they amputated her second leg - this is the time
When her Master Jesus Christ - came at the right time - to serve her, instead of her, serving him.
He came to carry her, on his arms, to be with him for eternity.
RIP faithful servant of the Lord - Susan Pittman.
You will always be remembered and loved and appreciated - by all whom they were touched by your faithful life - and they are numerous numerous, and I am one of the them.

Susan Pittman was a lovely and gracious lady. She always had a smile and a loving manner. She humbly served her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I especially loved the song she sang entitled "I Was Born to Serve the Lord."
My prayers are extended to Pastor Pittman and the family as well as the body of Christ at Temple Baptist.

I was blessed beyond words to have Susan as my sister. As we sat with her last week at the hospital we shared some memories that will now have to last the rest of my life. I told her last Sunday before I left the hospital that we were going to get her well and she would be out of the hospital. While it did not go as I had prayed for...the Lord kept my promise...for she is well now! No more pain, needles, amputations or hospital beds! My heart is literally in a million pieces, I loved my sister. I am also thankful to David, he has been so wonderful to her for all of these years. Please pray for him!
Thank you all for your love for Susan!
God Saw You
God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around you, and said ' Come with me".
With tearful eyes we watched you, slowly fade away,
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, your hands were folded in rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best!
All My Love,
Scott
