Obituary of Frank Emile Stoehrer
Frank Emile Stoehrer, 44, of McLean, VA, passed away on Friday, May 19th, 2017 at Fairfax Hospital.
Born on February 22nd, 1973 in Okinawa, Japan, he was the son of Masako (Takaesu) Stoehrer and the late Frank August Stoehrer. In 1976 Frank moved to McLean, VA, where he lived for most his life.
Frank graduated from McLean High School and continued on to Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX to train as an Automotive Technician. It was during his time at UTI when he met his future wife Michele. After completing his studies, he returned to VA along with Michele where the two eventually married.
When not fixing cars, Frank could be found enjoying one of his many hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, photography, extreme weather, car audio, and tinkering in the garage on various projects. He also loved animals of all kinds. Having kept turtles as pets since he was a child, he was also known to help almost any injured animal that came his way. Of all the pets he had over the years Frank loved his dogs Yuki, Violet, and his late dog Jasmine most of all.
Frank is survived by his wife Michele, his mother Masako, and his brother Mark; along with his grandmother, 2 uncles and 6 cousins who live in Japan.
