Trish and I were bffs when we worked at WHC, Medstar in late 70's and 80's. She was there for me during some tough times and bought a wonderful horse from me. I am deeply saddened by this news and I am sorry to miss the chance to reconnect now that I have decided to move back to the East Coast. My heartfelt prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Trish was a kind soul and good friend. We had some good times together - a ballroom dancing lesson, Man of LaMancha at the Shakespeare Theatre, the Bluemont Festival, a wine festival, spur of the moment dinners. She even went with me when I was car shopping. We always had a lot of laughs. She always had a kind word at our workplace. She will be sorely missed.

Seana and Maura,
I was so sad to hear about your mom, especially since it wasn't that long ago you lost your dad. Please know everyone at Highland is sending love your way. Let us know if we can do anything else.

We came to know and love the Sears family through our daughter Sarah's long friendship with Seana and Maura. Trish, Bobby and the girls have been like a second family for her and we are very grateful for their generous hearts. Trish had a contagious energy and love of life that made it easy to feel part of her family from our first meeting. The character and strength her girls have exhibited over the last few years is a testament to her nurturing nature. Our hearts go out to all of Trish's family and friends. We will miss her.

Hi girl cousins- I'm sorry to read this about your mom. I will always remember the time she went out of her way to drive my mom and me to Union Station from my mms cousins house in fairfax taking time out of her day to accommodate some Philadelphia cousins

My heart skipped a beat when I saw this news. First the spark of your Dad went out and now the joy of your mother. I ache for both of you, Maura and Seana. I have so many wonderful memories of the four of you individually and as a family. Hang on to all they taught you, see in yourselves their values and love, and keep them alive in your memories.

I had such affection for both Trish and Bobby. Trish and I became friends through Bobby. We were both CRNA's and I always enjoyed speaking with Trish. She had a heart of gold. RIP Trish, you will be missed. God bless.
