I 1st met John at a dinner party of Ljubica & John Albertson's(my parents) in "The Hamlet" in McLean,Virginia,in 1983. We were fast friends w/in 5 minutes. My father and your father were known for there opinions on numerous subjects, most of which was classified/political talks were uncensored!
Your fathers Sage knowledge was well received by me especially since the passing of my parents.
Your father wrote my fathers eulogy. My moms request.
I will be in Washington Columbus Day for wk. I was hoping to visit w/your dad. I'm the person who talked your Dad into "walking vigorously" rather than running. He always thanked me /each conversation.
I feel that we have met and your mom 1 time lost an earring at my dad's retirement dinner party. I found it just before they returned to hunt it out. Your mom w/her hand still on the front door was elated after freaking out!
Lovely people your parents, simply charming.
Your Dad wanted to be the oldest living Catholic from Poland born in the US/I think he got pretty close to that goal.
Peace & Strength to you and your family, he was so proud of you Mark and your lovely wife as well those three grandchildren.
