To Gayle's family, please accept the condolences of a fellow singer from the Fairfax Choral Society, on behalf of the entire chorus and the Board of Directors. Gayle was much loved by her alto buddies and the other singers. One of the last times we sang together was at Carnegie Hall - the experience of a lifetime. We already miss Gayle's gentle spirit and her sweet smile.

I didn't see Gayle that often, just at our family reunions, and what a pleasure that was. When you came up to her and said hello, she turned that wonderful smile on and made you feel like she was your best friend. Always so kind and generous in her thoughtfulness, she will be missed by all who knew her.

I am truly sorry to hear about Gayle. Losing someone we love is nothing easy, and knowing that i have been able to be a part of her life i realize that i am blessed to have known Gayle and to have shared in the joy she spread to me in so many ways throughout my life. When I visualize Gayle, I see a smile and joy radiating from her.
She will always be remembered in our family.

Dear Fred,
My heart is aching for you and for what you are going through right now. I posted some photos from my visit with you all in 2015. I'll miss Gayle terribly. She was a beautiful kindred soul and the world is a smaller, sadder, less interesting and more lonely place without her wit and joy and grit. The entire family is poorer now, without our "keeper of the flame."
If there were any way in this world i could be there in person on Saturday, I would.
You were a wonderful husband, a marvelous caregiver (HER words: "I’m in good hands – Fred is an excellent cook, and mothers me like you wouldn’t believe."), and she always seemed so happy to be doing life with you. Please take good care of yourself.
