While our condolence comes a few months late, we just learned today of Don’s passing. We are deeply saddened to learn Don lost his strong battle to cancer. We met him through my husband’s chemo sessions, and like Tom Crow expressed, we considered him a friend. His upbeat, enthusiastic demeanor kept all of us on our toes, and we found ourselves looking forward to attending treatments with Don, some of his family members and other beloved patients during that time. We pray for peace in his passing, the joy of reuniting with loved one’s up in heaven and a never-ending golf game making him whole again. God Bless Don, Tom and his entire family and friends...may he Rest In Peace!

Don (aka: The Rev):
I will always remember the many Fridays at Outback, the golf matches, golf trips and your unbridled enthusiasm for the game. Your never say die attitude and your conviction that you could make any shot under any conditions.
You will be missed by all that knew you. Rest in peace my friend.

Don, I had prayed you would beat this to no avail we lost you. You were a loving man to your sons one being my grandson Skylar. Even as sick as you were you called him everyday and talked about sports and football picks up until the end. Skylar being only eleven losing his Daddy is so strong just like you were during your fight to live. We love and miss you. On a lighter note you always promised me you would give me your secret recipe for Pina Coladas you made the best. I guess when we meet again I’ll get it then. God bless you handsome.

My wife and I were saddened to hear of Don's passing. Don and I shared chemo sessions for several months, and his presence always made the sessions more bearable and much more interesting. You wouldn't think that you could develop a bond with someone you only saw a few times a month, but Don's enthusiasm, outgoing nature, and joy for life made him an easy guy to get to know, and I considered him a friend. I will miss him and remember him always.
