Obituary of Donald Alexander Garrett

Please share a memory of Donald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Born in Bethesda, Md. and raised on Maple Spring Farm in Rockville, Md., he was the son of the late Thomas Alexander and Betty Lou Garrett.

Don was “larger than life" and embraced each day with a glass half full attitude.  He loved his family and friends, being a father and grandfather, and playing golf any chance he could.

He focused his career on helping others fulfill their greatest aspirations.  His talent was helping others see all that they could be.  It was a gift he shared with his family, friends, and clients.

Survived by sons, Thomas Alexander Garrett (wife Grace), Skylar Alexander Robinson, grandson Ashton Alexander Garrett, sisters Nancy Warfield (Curtis), Donna Myers (Jason), loved ones Stephanie Robinson (Skylar's mom) and Marie Ellison Garrett Conforto (Tom's Mom), nieces Debbie Biesel, Kelly Zepp, Kristin Brauth, nephew Richard Stone, and his golfing family - Bob Waterman, Scott Weaver, Jim Moore, Heather Hewitt and many more.
