I am so crushed to learn of Emma's passing -- she was the greatest aide my autistic son Spencer ever worked with. Emma was so terribly kind and devoted, and I always looked very much forward to seeing her in the morning as I dropped Spencer off at school. I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Emma my first year at HMS. I had a challenging class and she came to join our group. She embraced the challenge, showed kindness, respect, and support to each and every student. She was my rock day in and day out. Her smile, her heart, and her love were unmatched. I loved hearing about her rabbits, I learned so much! She loved her family so fiercely and spoke of them all with such a glow in her eye it was like her love was shining through them. I loved her laugh, I loved her hugs, and I will miss her greatly.
