Obituary of Joseph Carl Vecchio

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Carl Vecchio of Ashburn, Virginia announce his passing on March 4, 2018 at the age of 76. He was born on April 10, 1941 in New York, he was the son of the late Peter and Angelina Vecchio and is survived by his wife Kathryn Rassier of Ashburn,Virginia, his sister Gloria Vella of New York,  Joseph's children, Laurie Ann (Joseph), Carolyn, and John of New York, and three grandchildren, Christopher, Caileen and Sophia. Finally, his constant companion and beloved dog, Willi.

Joseph attended Fordham University and Fordham Law School. He was a member of the New York, Florida, Virginia and Federal Bar Associations. He practiced Government Contract law for over 40 years. Joseph proudly served in the U.S. Army as a member of the Judge Advocate Corp.
