I have fond memories of growing up in Broad Run Farms with the Foltz family as one of our neighbors. Everybody cared for one another and was available whenever something was needed. Barbara's faith and caring for others, no matter how small or great the need, never wavered. Heaven has gained a very special angel.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to the Foltz family on the passing of Barbara. She was a wonderful neighbor, school nurse and friend of ours for many years. She was kind, thoughtful, caring, faithful and an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dear Earl & Family,
We are all saddened by Barbara’s passing. Your wife was a such a strong and caring woman. She sacrificed so much of her time doing things for the church and other people. Her faith was so strong and contagious. She was a smart woman and really knew how to make you feel better when you were down. We so appreciated all she did for our church community. These things are too numerous to name. We will miss talking with her and seeing her at church. We also know how much she loved her family. Earl, we are here for you.

Our Zimmerman and Foltz families were friends for many years, when my parents Bette & Dale joined Barbara & Earl in nurturing the young Galilee UMC. I will always remember Mrs. Foltz at Loudoun Hospital many years ago when I came out of surgery and she was right there to take care of me. She did that for so many people over the years, in so many ways. May God rest her soul and reunite her with her two sons. With love to her family and dear friends.
