Obituary of Mary Jacquelyn Eelman

Mary Eelman passed away in her home in Oak Hill, VA on April 26, 2018.

Mary was born July 25, 1996 in Arlington, VA to David Eelman and Nigelle Holloway.

Mary was a 2016 graduate of WT Woodson High School in Fairfax, VA, and a 2017 graduate of the Wilson Workforce Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville, VA.

Mary was born profoundly deaf, and she loved her many friends in the deaf community and experiencing deaf culture.  Mary recently worked at American Eagle Outfitters.

Mary is survived by her parents, David (Father) and Holly Eelman and Nigelle Holloway (Mother) and Bruce Benjamin, sister Martha Eelman, stepsisters Emily Benjamin, Madison Shannon and Kamryn Shannon, stepbrother Grant Benjamin, her loving grandparents Al and Marilyn Eelman and Terry and Christine Holloway, and many extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at Floris United Methodist Church, 13600 Frying Pan Rd., Herndon, VA 20171, at 4pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2016.
