To the family and friends, the sting of death touches the very core of our hearts and emotions. Please find comfort in knowing that Our Creator can be a source of hope and comfort to all during your time of grief. He also promises a hope for those sleeping in death at (1 Corinthians 15:26)... As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. . .

I’m so sorry for your recent loss. My deepest condolences to your family. Death of a loved one is never easy to endure, but you don’t have to go through it alone. You can always find comfort in our God of tender mercy Jehovah, as found at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. May you also find comfort in the thought brought out in John 5:28,29, of being reunited with Romeda on a paradise Earth.

Dear Corinne, Adele and family, Chuck and I are so very sad to hear of Ro’s passing. Ro and Tait were our dear friends with whom we shared the celebration of life’s special events, as well everyday memories over the years, since we first met when daughter Meg and Corinne began middle school. We enjoyed the times we were together, and we mourned with you the passing of Tait. After we moved to Oregon, Ro and I always kept in touch and met for lunch as often as possible whenever we visited Meg and Catt in Virginia.
There won’t be a morning that passes by for me without thinking of talking to Ro. It was my first thought Saturday when I remembered it being Mother’s Day weekend, and decided to call on Monday instead. We had not spoken for a couple of weeks - since before my foot surgery May 4th, so I was unaware of recent health concerns or the biopsy she had scheduled. With sorrow, we learned of her sudden passing Sunday afternoon.
We will miss Ro always. She is one of life’s treasures-a true friend who has shared your life’s past and with whom you continued to share and celebrate the present. She loved and cherished her girls, adored Tommy and Will, and looked forward to the birth of her first granddaughter. She was always there thru happy times and sad for her friends and family. She helped me pick my dress for Meg’s wedding, and was present at my Mom’s funeral. We shared much of life’s experiences - sorrows and joys - with each other.
She was the best. We are so sorry not to be able to be able to be in Virginia this Friday at St. Thomas Church, at Chestnut Grove Cemetery and at the celebration of Ro’s life. We will be thinking of her and you and all of the family this Friday.
With love and deep sympathy,
Linda and Chuck

The Milliken Family,
Hal and I are deeply saddened by this news. As you know, Ro and I were colleagues at the American National Red Cross and at Inova Fairfax Hospital. We've been friends all of these many years. We spent many happy hours together sailing on the Umbriago on the Chesapeake Bay or having a good time with family and other friends in the spacious back yard at the Great Falls home. All are wonderful memories. My most recent conversation with Ro was a few weeks ago...naturally we discussed grandchildren, the newly expected one and the antics of young twin grandsons that we both are lucky to have. We always shared a lot of laughs when we spoke on the phone. And I'm so glad we had lunch together in March when we were in town.
So, Adele and Corinne and your families, I want you to know that both Hal and I think Ro was a most interesting person. She was interesting because she was interested in people and in a wide range of topics and issues. She liked to read meaningful, substantive books. She was insightful and open-minded. She acted upon her convictions. She truly had a keen mind and enjoyed sharing her knowledge and expertise.
She was a caring person, interested in the welfare of her friends and family. She always spoke very fondly of you girls, your father, and her brother. She loved nature, especially animals: elephants, horses, dogs. She had so many wonderful attributes. We feel lucky to have known her. She left a big imprint on those of us who knew her. We share in your loss and send you our condolences.
Love, Hal and Helen

In the few years we knew her, we came to value Ro as a good friend. We will miss her greatly. Her absence will diminish us as her friends and the world in which we live. We will look back with affection on the time we had with her. God bless you all.

I had the pleasure of meeting Romeda about 13 years ago. We had corresponded via e-mail about Tait's family ancestry and mine. Romeda helped quite a bit and was able to visit me with other friends from Kansas.
I was so sorry to hear about her passing and wanted to send my deepest condolences to her family.

I was so sad and shocked to hear about Ro. I have fond memories of her, as I was a fellow Medical Technologist at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Ro was an amazing Blood Bank technologist, as she was exceptionally good at finding those rare "zebras" when trying to identify those hard to identify antibodies which resulted in finding compatible blood for patients in need! Ro also adopted her beloved dog, Misty, from my neighbors. She gave her lots of love and a beautiful home. Ro had a loving heart for sure! I pray that the many beautiful memories you hold dear to your heart will help bring you comfort in the coming weeks.God bless!

My Dear Adele and Corinne,
I was so very sorry to hear that your Mom has left this world. It broke my heart.
Your Mom made me laugh! She told me just a couple weeks ago what frozen meals I should buy that were "real" food. She talked about her wonderful grandsons and the new baby who would be coming soon. She talked about her daughters and life and I know she was happy. I will miss seeing her at church and in the grocery store, where we had the most opportunities to visit for a while. You will be in my family's thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your family and let me know what we might be able to do for you.
Love from Mrs. G
