Having owned a home across from Barbara our family was fortunate to know Barbara for over 15 years. She truly was one of the kindest people you could ever want to meet. She never gossiped about neighbors, never had an unkind word to say about or to anyone and always greet you with a smile. Barbara always struck me as having an uncommon genuineness about her and just carried herself with such class and grace, she was We always felt so blessed to have a neighbor like Barbara, she taught us all what kind of neighbors we can and should be to one another, she was just a profound example in how we should treat one another. Through her children and grandchildren Barbara left a remarkable legacy.
Barbara was a person of few words she did not need to say much, you knew she was a wise soul.
"A truly wise person uses few words, a person with understanding is even tempered".
Our thoughts and prayers are with Barbaras family, children and grandchildren.
Sincerely
Kevin Foley

What a joy it was to have Barbara in our lives!
Warm smile, loving heart, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, calm demeanor, and dedicated servant are just a few of the many cherished memories we share about Barbara. Her commitment to serving her Lord through the church and our preschool ministry (for 24 years !) was a gift beyond measure. She was truly our Sister in Christ, faithfully serving as an Assistant Teacher and then Office Secretary for 18 years before her retirement in 2008. Many knew Barbara as having a quiet spirit, but her loving devotion to her family and great delight in each grandchild filled the room with joy when she shared treasured moments with us!
Our hearts are deeply saddened, but we give thanks for the many years our beloved friend shared her abundant gifts with us. What a comfort and blessing His assurance brings that she is in the loving arms of our heavenly Father!
Peace in His love,
Susie & Barbara's Preschool Family
