My condolences to the family. If a family member sees this please tell me more about James. The similarities with my life are amazing. My wife’s name is Pam and we lived in Reston for many years. One of my brothers sent this obituary to me thinking James might be my son. My kids are two boys, Michael and Kevin. Both attended South Lakes High in Reston.

We extend our deepest sympathy to his family on the loss of a dear friend and co-worker. I have worked with Jim for many, many years and have enjoyed our time together. When he was General Manager of the Holiday Inn-Greenbelt I was the Executive Housekeeper. We had many good times and great discussions. He will be missed by many co-workers - past and present.

I am very sorry for the death of your loved one. I didn't know James personally but I do know that we are never prepared for such a loss. The only true source of comfort is our Heavenly Father. The Bible calls him the Father of all comfort and tender mercies (2 Corinthians 1:3). He will soon clean the Earth of all wickedness and suffering, including sickness and death. In the meantime, may this scripture and others found in the Bible bring you comfort and assured hope that you will see your loved one again in the resurrection on a restored paradise Earth (Acts 24:15)
