Obituary of James Joseph Hagerty, Jr.

James Joseph Hagerty, Jr., age 47, of Reston, passed June 18, 2018.  Born March 11, 1971 to James J. and Pamela J. Hagerty in Washington DC. Beloved husband of Pam Hagerty. Loving father of Taylor Nicole Hagerty. He is also survivied by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

He loved his daughter, wife and friend of 28 years, Mom and Dad, family, and friends.  He was a kind man with an infectious smile.  He was the happiest and funniest person we have ever met and made friends wherever he went.  

Jim attended St. Jeromes Catholic School, Damatha Catholic High School, and Trinity College.

Throughout his life he was active in golfing, baseball, soccer, boating, bowling, and basketball. He also enjoyed spending time at the ocean, the Eagles (band), Jimmy Buffett, the Washington Redskins, and Seinfeld.  

For 31 years, he was dedicated employee at Coakley and Williams Hotel Management Company.  He loved the work he did and was passionate about it.  His last position was Vice President of Operations.

It's those changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes, nothing remains quite the same.  With all of our running and all of our cunning, If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane."

Just as God's love is eternal - Jim-your love is eternal for us and our love is eternal for you.  Until we see you again.
