Just want to add my condolence. We under went the Vigil Honor together a year ago at Goshen, which was a unique and special experience for both of us at our age. I had previously worked with him in Powhatan District as adult volunteers. We shared special times together and regret his passing. He truly lived up to the Scout oath and promise!

My sincere condolences. I met Wally after boot camp when we both arrived at Ft. Rucker for jet engine school. One evening, shortly after I had gotten a tattoo, I was lying in my bunk and he came over with some sort of lotion and rubbed in on my arm. He said “ you gotta keep it moist so the scabs won’t dry out too fast”. We went on to Fr. Campbell and the 190th. We spent the year there befor going to Vietnam together. He was always the most starched and spit shined.
I was sent to a different unit in Nam and lost touch with all my friends from the 190th. So sad to have lost a long lost brother.

Please accept my sincerest sympathies and sorrow for the loss of your loved one. I served with Wally in Vietnam with the 190th AHC from 1968 to 1969. He is one of our brothers who served his country well and I "thank" him for his service. May God Bless your families.

I am very sorry for your loss . Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to experience . Please be comforted by the promises in the Bible . Jesus tells us at John 5 : 28 , 29 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out . What a loving provision put in place by the God of all comfort so we can have the assured hope of seeing our dead loved ones live again one day . Meanwhile as I pray for that day to come I ask Jehovah God to bless your family and give each of you the strength to endure this most trying time . For more Bible promises please visit jw.org .
