Our paths crossed twice.Once while we were young women at college at Ohio Wesleyan and thirty years later at Coolfont (although my family owned a home there as long as she did). I will always treasure my youthful and older memories.of this delightful, intelligent and kind woman. Rest in peace Mary Kay. My condolences Gordon and the rest of the family.

My special relation with my Aunt Lorena (Mary Kay's mother) has always made me consider Mary Kay as a younger sister. Through the years we shared many fond memories. I look back with nostalgia at the good times we had when I spent the last week of summer in Fairfax with the Shepstons during my college years. One of the highlights of my life was my visit with them in Geneva. In recent years we've all enjoyed the four family reunions inspired by Mary Kay. We're all very proud of Mary Kay's great success in real estate and we greatly miss her! We send love and prayers to the entire family. Pat & Family

We’re missing Mary Kay and holding her family in our hearts.
She blessed her family and friends with love, music, beauty, grace, generosity, humor and honesty. We are grateful for her life and sad that she had to leave us too soon.

It is so sad to hear of Mary Kay's passing. I shall always think of her - with her two cheerful daughters - accompanying Gordon to meetings in Geneva over twenty years ago when we worked together on international insurance. Gordon's efforts were an education for me, in my early days in the UK insurance world. Mary Kay's cheery good spirits and care for colleagues and friends were a special added extra, showing that international work could be a family affair, and making a huge difference to all those around her. Thank you, Mary Kay.

I will remember Mary Kay's smile and laughter. She would brighten any room she entered. A truly lovely, kind, compassionate and genuine lady. She was more interested in others than in herself and always made you feel special. Gordy, Maureen, Michelle and family, I am just so sorry and sad about Mary Kay. I know how much you loved each other and I pray with time that the depth of that love can lift you up.
Much love,
Heidi and Scott

We are saddened to hear of Mary Kay's passing. She was a real spark plug here in the Barton Hill community and she will be sorely missed. Her insights, her joie de vivre, her love of her family--they were all a hallmark of her life. So very very sorry for your loss.

Dear Gordon,
You may need a refresher; you knew me as an English teacher at Fairfax High.
I remember you fondly as a very bright student and outstanding leader. I send my
condolences at a very sad time.
Perhaps when things settle down, I may get an email from you.
Fondly,
Rita MORGAN Stone
