Heather was a gifted mentor and true friend. She always seemed to be there with the right words at just the right time. She was straightforward, witty, and one of the smartest women I have ever known.
Heather once told me I reminded her of herself when she was starting out in her career. I remember at that moment thinking how unimaginable it would be for someone like me to catapult into success the way she did. I am grateful for all she gave to help me and so many others grow and succeed.
Whenever I see the quote "Empowered Women empower women," I will forever be reminded of Heather.

We have lost such a bright light... I met Heather during the J&J years and got to see her work her magic there and at Novo Nordisk. She was an inspiring colleague and a very dear friend. As much as I'll miss our long talks and good laughs, its comforting to know that there are so many people that share my love and admiration for Heather. I know we will all keep her in our hearts. With deepest condolences for Kyle and Lezlee and all of the people that loved her.

I only knew of Heather while I worked with her mother Karen and the news of her passing simply took my breath away. Heather was special, unique, talented, smart, kind, funny....amazing. I know you know this, anyone who met her, and whose life she touched could not fail to know this. Her loss I am sure is felt deeply by you, her family and friends, but for a small consolation, a piece of her lives on in all of those who were honored to work with her, share a laugh or a hug, a tear or a smile. Heather was the salt of the Earth, someone I enjoyed getting to know and working with over 10 years ago.
