Sybil was a faithful participant in our bi-weekly Friday night hymn-sings at Loudoun Nursing and Rehab for several years. We grew to be very fond of each other. She was thoughtful and enthusiastic each time we visited. Sybil clearly had a love for God and her family. In recent weeks, she told me that she had been dreaming about Heaven. Although we are sad to learn of her passing and will miss her sweet presence in our gatherings, we take comfort in knowing that we will see her again, on the other shore. We extend our sympathies to her loved ones and our prayers for the comfort of the Holy Spirit as you grieve her passing.

My sincerest condolence to Marie, Steve, Beverley and other family members. Sybil and Bob were very kind to our family when we came in from Jamaica providing us with furniture which we greatly appreciated. She was a remarkable individual and will be greatly missed.

To the family of Mrs. Sybil Witsell,
You have my heartfelt condolences. She was my nursing teacher at Washington Irving High School in New York City and she had such a profound impact on my life. She was loving, graceful and supportive. She mentored me throughout my adult life and I will be forever grateful for her guidance and nurturing. May she continue to rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Monique Darrisaw-Akil, Ed.D.

Sybil Witsell is much loved and remembered by the McFarlane family. She was a great help to my mother and the family growing up in Queens, NY and was never too busy to take us on outings and provide us with necessities. She continued through the years to be a valued friend and mentor. It is with deep regret that we mourn her passing and our sympathies go out to family and friends.
