We send our sincerest condolences for your family's loss. Carolyn was our neighbor, mine since I was 8 years old. She bought the 1st box of girl scout cookies that I ever sold. Our family was very found of her. Every year after Ed (my husband) shoveled and salted her steps she would write a hand written thank you note. Very classy!!
She is already missed.

Dear Cousin Walter,
When you come to my home now without Carolyn, my family and I will miss her. She was always very friendly and we just considered her a part of the Houston/Matthews family. Carolyn's dessert serving partner, my granddaughter Ava Grace, has not been told of her passing. She will be extremely unhappy. Carolyn would want you to take care of yourself and continue to embrace her spirit.

I was in D.C. two weeks prior to Carolyn's passing. We went to the museum, visited, dined and had a wonderful time. I am deeply saddened by the loss of my lifelong friend. My heart is heavy with the loss of Carolyn. She was like a bright star and so full of life. My condolences to Walter, Dannie, Sherlyn, Renee and the rest of the family.
