Obituary of Deborah Jean Georgetti-Piro

Deborah Jean Georgetti-Piro

Passed away unexpectantly on Friday morning, October 12, 2018, in Reston, VA.  A resident of Great Falls, VA, she was born and raised in Plains, PA.  Deborah was one of three children of Rudolph Georgetti and Jennie Georgetti (Gustinucci).  She was a graduate of Wilkes University.

Deborah was a talented and innovative business executive and negotiator for several global commercial real estate companies over the years, whose departments and asset portfolios flourished wherever she worked; she was nationally recognized within her industry.  Yet, Deborah balanced that fast-paced work life by being a caring and loving mother and spouse who always had time for her family, including being the loudest cheerleader (she had been a school cheerleader in both high school and college) and most avid photographer for her daughters at travel and Varsity high school soccer, basketball, softball, and track & field.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Ernest J. Piro III; daughters, Abigail and Amanda Piro; brother, Brian Georgetti and his fiancée Kim Sohn; sister-in-law, Michele Georgetti; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nevin and Kathleen Okay, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Mary Piro; nephews, Rudy Georgetti, Ryan Georgetti, and Nicholas Okay; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father in 2015, mother in 2018, and brother, Rudy Georgetti, in 2015.
