Lt. Holland was my platoon leader at Ft. Meade in 1974. I was there when he was sent to Korea for a tour of duty. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing.

I’m so sorry for your recent loss. My deepest condolences to your family. Death of a loved one is never easy to endure, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Continue looking to God and you will always find comfort in him (2 Cor 1:3,4). He will soon destroy the enemy of death (1 Cor 15:26), and He will soon return our loved ones to us through the resurrection (John 5:28,29). For more than 25 years, Paul's been a great friend, trusted confidant, and business genius. Paul was a great boss, colleague, and office mate who always loved to share a laugh, a good stock tip, or a sound business strategy. Paul always knew the good scoop and was always cheery to folk who showed up at our door looking for professional or personal counsel and advice. I remember us striving to laugh every day while we dealt with very complex projects, difficult customers, and unwavering deadlines. I fondly remember his dedication to his "soccer kids" and how he would leave work for practice or a game and then come back to finish his day's work--making sure he took care of his customers, bosses and teams. Respected by everyone for his intelligence, professionalism, and integrity, Paul set the standard for managers in our organization. My thoughts and prayers are with Paul's family as they've worked hard to take good care of him. I miss him terribly.

For many years, my siblings (Laurie is my sister) and our families met in Lynchburg for family reunions at our parents house. Paul was always an active participant in those reunions and over time blended in with what could only be described as the “quirky” Wiklund side of the family. We had innumerable enjoyable times competing in sports activities and sharing meals together. We will miss him greatly.

I am at a great loss at the passing of this fine man.. Paul was my first boss at NG over 15 years ago and I learned so much from him. He was a sharp witted friend who always had me laughing by the end of the conversation with his dead pan humor.. he always talked about his family so I bonded with him immediately.. he was a dedicated hard worker and rolled with the punches that kept coming.. I will not forget when my young infant became very ill just how understanding he was. I thought about leaving the work force but Paul worked out a part time plan for me and that changed the course of my life... I appreciated his professional advice over the years and considered him my Work family! There is a hole in the universe with his passing.. I will miss him terribly and respected him immensely..
