It’s with my deepest sympathy on the passing of Linda .
I live at “ The Makarios “ where Dave and Linda have a condo. We are located on Anastasia island near St.Augustine.
All of us here love Dave and Linda . They would come and enjoy our pool , our social gatherings , and just to visit.
Our hearts are broken at this news.
We pray for comfort for Dave and all the family .

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I spent many hours with Linda at Herndon High School when my daughters were there from 2003-2010. I was a volunteer and she always made time to help me. I am thankful that Linda was a part of our Herndon family.

I graduated from Chopticon High school with Linda and we both grew up in Hollywood (St. Mary’s County) about a mile away from each other. The news of Linda’s passing is beyond shocking! Diana, David, and family, please accept my most sincere sympathy for the loss of this beautiful lady! Words are inadequate at times like this but I do hope you are comforted in knowing how many people’s lives were touched by Linda! I worked with Linda at both Herndon Middle School and Herndon High and she was always a blessing to be around. When I had a few moments during my planning periods , I would chat with Linda and her office aides and she was always cheerful and friendly. Whether we were talking about our kids, or her grandchildren, we just took a few moments to catch up on each other's lives . Many people were touched by her warm and friendly spirit. I witnessed former students expressing the shock and sadness over her passing on Facebook and it goes without saying that this loss will be radiating throughout the community. Please know that all of us who knew her were blessed for the stories and shared moments that we exchanged when passing in the halls, or just sitting at her desk and catching up. Linda was a special lady and my prayers go out to her family and friends as they grieve her passing.
