My favorite memory of Donny was when my Grandparents and I came out for his wedding. I remember how beautiful Chris looked in her dress and how he looked in his tuxedo. The reception was one of the best I have been to as I could’ve danced all night.
The other thing I am thankful for, was Donny allowing me to take his trumpet back to Billings with me, which lead me to becoming a very good trumpet player.
Even though he may have not known, he was a major influence in my life. Thank you Donny for everything you did for me.

Sincere condolences to Chris, Spencer, and ALL the White family, most of whom I have know since our Ft. Wayne, Indiana, days. I remember Don's friendship with my children in high school and especially cherish his continued friendship to present with my son, David. I have so many memories of Donny. We were inseparable as we grew up as neighbors. At the time, I think I knew the inside of their house almost as well as my own. His family was everything to him, and he never hesitated to include all of them whenever we did anything From swimming in the pool, going to Indian Guides to sleeping in the camper in the driveway, riding bikes through Clarkies Field, the memories are never ending.
I lost track of him after their move from Lyons, and recently tried locating him with no success. I was very saddened to hear the news since I am sure he was an awesome husband, father and friend. My prayers to all of you on the devastating loss and pain you are going through.
