Obituary of Donald Thomas White

Donald Thomas White, of Sterling, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital.

He was born December 9, 1960, in Illinois, the son of Donald Lester White and Phyllis Polek White. He and his family moved to Ohio then Indiana. Moving to Northern Virginia in the mid 80s. Don was employed at Unisys for 19 years along with other tech companies.

He was a devoted father and family man and a loyal friend.  He was happiest when he had a project to work on.  He went out of his way to help people and foster a sense of community.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Carey White, and son Spencer David White of Sterling: father, Donald (Durie) White of Gainesville; sisters, Susan (Douglas) Jones and Sheila (William) Leonard of Fort Wayne IN, Paulette (Daniel) Donnelly of Fairfax, Va, and Maria (Peter) Dosch of South Bend, IN and brother, Thomas (Pamela) White of Granger, IN. He had 12 nieces and 10 nephews and two great nieces.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Adams Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden street, Herndon, VA 20170. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am on Monday. December 17, 2018 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 46833 Harry Byrd Highway, Sterling, VA. Interment will be private.
