Bettie was a wonderful human being. I guess I knew her for almost all my life. My Aunt, Barbara, babysat her two children, David and Joy, and then when I was old enough I babysat both children as well.
Bettie and I sang in the choir together at the United Methodist Church, and she sang at my wedding in November of 1975. She sang "Oh Promise Me" and it was absolutely beautiful. She had the voice of an Angel.
She was truly loved and will be missed by all, especially Bob, David, and Joy and her grandchildren.
Bettie, may you rest in peace and hopefully you are in heaven hooting it up with my Aunt, Mother, Aunt Pearl, your Mother, and anybody else that you run into!! I will miss your smiling face and those big beautiful brown eyes.
