I want Heidi's family to know just how much she meant to all of us at VDOT. Heidi was extremely well liked by all. Heidi was one of the angels of VDOT, always going out of her way to be helpful in any possible way and a cheerleader to those who were down. I will always remember her excitement about her first art show and will remember that day each time I look at her paintings that adorn my home. She knew well how I loved yellow butterflies and angels and made a point of painting them for me. I will always love that precious girl!!

My heart goes out to Heidi's family and friends. Heidi was a wonderful co-worker; bright, enthusiastic and always helpful. "Not a problem" was her response to whatever complicated request I made of her. Although the circumstances of the state budget required her position to be cut, please know how valued and respected she was here at VDOT.
