Spent so many years growing up in the Hukari's home in Kent, WA. It was a very special and memorable time in my life. Rest in Peace Jon and Peace be with the Karen and Jeffrey - I love you guys.

To the Hukari Family I send my deepest condolences for you loss. I only just discovered that Jon had passed now. However, I still felt it extremely important to reach out and send my love and thoughts. We spent so much time together growing up and just being kids in the Kent House. I have some of my fondest memories of childhood right there in that house, shared with the two Great Danes!
Again, sending you my love and thoughts. Now and forever and Rest in Peace Jonathan Adam Hukari - You will be missed, always.

Jon and I went to high school together. One year I even asked him to accompany me to homecoming as a friend. I will always remember lecturing him about wearing shorts in the middle of winter. He would inform me that he was from Seattle and that Virginia was not cold in compasrion. Jon made high school bearable with his quiet manner and acceptance of others. I only wish that I had been able to tell him that. He will be sorely missed. Please accept my condolences.

Jon & I were in several classes together in high school. He sat behind me in Mrs. Kauffman's 10th grade english class and i remember him tapping me on the shoulder with his pencil almost everyday. He always made me smile with some curious comment, obscure fact, or thoughtful question. He was always thinking and questioning, and i always thought that he was very smart. Mostly i enjoyed his sense of humor, and we giggled about something everyday. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that the good memories you have, and the ones others share, will comfort you.

I met Jon in high school. Jon was always so sweet and very nice. He had a great sense of humor and made people laugh. I didn't keep in touch with him as much as I should have after high school but wish I would have. He will be greatly missed.
