Obituary of Jonathan Adam Hukari

Jonathan Adam Hukari was born on December 15, 1978, in Seattle, WA. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest until moving to Northern Virginia in 1993. Jon was a 1997 graduate of Broad Run High School in Ashburn, VA. He had just returned to UVA to finish his degree in computer science. Jon is survived by his parents, Bill and Karen of Ashburn, VA; his brother, Jeff of Ashburn,; his uncle Dr. Thomas Hukari of Victoria, British Columbia; his uncle and aunt, Jim and Marlene Hansen of Camano Island, WV; his godparents, Ed and Pat Biggs of Carson, WA; many cousins, his cats, Delphi and Vex and his beloved dog, Bender. He also leaves many good and kind friends from high school and college, especially William Ewing, Erik Larson and Nora Bungard and former members of the UVA Pep Band and the band at Broad Run High School. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 4, 2011 from 11am to 1pm with a memorial service starting at 1pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Jon's memory to your local humane society.
