Obituary of James Francis Kerrigan

James F. Kerrigan, Sr., age 63, formerly of Reston, VA died on June 6, 2010 at his home in Sterling, VA. He was born on October 4, 1946 in Washington, DC to the late Bernard and Jacqueline Kerrigan. For the past 25 years Jim worked as a consultant specializing in Market Research on Federal IT Spending. Jim was the beloved husband of Colleen Kerrigan, loving and devoted father of James F. Kerrigan, Jr. and his wife Allison of Ashburn, VA and Jason R. Kerrigan and his wife Erika of Charlottesville, VA, brother of Kathleen Ridgell of Littleton, CO and Jeannette Clark of Thurmont, MD, proud grandfather of Jack and Tyler. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 9 th from 4-7pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 11 th at 10:30am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, VA. Inurnment will immediately follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation ( www.pcf.org ).
