I worked with LaJean at FMCC for 12 1/2 years. There was NO ONE who had a better sense of humor and a zest for life than LaJean. We had some really great laughs and we made each other's days just a little better through laughter. The world will be just a little less joyous without her. May she find all the joy and laughter and a great glass of wine each and every day here after. Miss ya. Andy

LaJean will be dearly missed for her sense of humor, and love of friends and family. She was the first and last person I knew that was able to take two weeks time off each year! It was a "condition of employment" that she get those two weeks in her beloved Minnesota each year! May precious memories of LaJean comfort you all in this time!

For me, LaJean will always be 12 years old. It was the spring of 1961 when she and her friend, Candy Wold, became my first female phone friends. LeJean and I once talked for 2 hours and 7 minutes, which is still the record for longest phone call in my life. Not long afterward, she lost interest in me and my bicycle-riding friends in favor of older boys with cars -- like Larry Koentopf. I am so sorry for your loss, and am happy to learn that LaJean brought so much joy into so many lives. God bless you all. ~ John Loftus, Seattle, WA

Leah, Layna and Larry, My heart breaks for you all. My mom saw your mom at Chemo when my mother first got the diagnoses. She was so excited. I know what a horrible cancer this is and how it just robs us all and our loved ones. Larry my step dad David is still at the house in Sterling. I think you met him. I have such awesome memories spending my childhood w/you all, LaJean and you all were such a big part of my childhood. I wish I could go tomorrow but unfortunately I am not able to. But my heart is there and please know if you need anything, to talk or just sit....David and I are here. Much Love and Peace, Wendy Hall Gail Hall's daughter
